13 Jun The announcement.
Category: Announcement

Dear people. In the last few weeks, I’ve seen yet another step in the growth of Cocoia and I have decided to outline it’s growth and the upcoming projects in a presentation. There are some big things coming up, and so, it’s now official. See how far Cocoia has come and what we’re quickly approaching.

If this is in any way unusable to you, let me know. It’s a Quicktime slideshow.

    Feedback on the movie:
    - I probably had to click 20+ times to go through the entire presentation. Too many transitions! *cradles sore finger*

    Feedback on downloads:
    - Have you considered moving your downloads to be hosted by Amazon S3? Might save you some transfer costs. Last time I checked it was around $0.15/gb

Hopefully this is some constructive feedback on your slideshow.

Give the user some feedback on what is happening. I found myself sitting here wondering if the download had completed. I finally clicked the screen and it advanced to the next slide.

It didn’t go full screen on my PowerBook when I used Firefox. I don’t know if I was seeing everything when I manually went to full screen.

    Too many transitions.

Looks like you are doing well and I’m looking forward to what you have in the pipeline :)

You’re right guys – the format sucks. I won’t be using it again in the future.
