A few notes…

I wanted to announce a few other things. First of all, I will celebrate a whopping three days of vacation at Lowlands 2007, a musical festival that is all about atmosphere. You there? Spot me and get a free drink (it’s the guy in the Cocoia t-shirt, duh).

More importantly for all blog readers; as I have announced yet another War on Bad Design icon set it makes all the more sense to do some price-slashing! In the days that I’m out (starting thursday, August 16th and ending monday, August 20th), Noble, my stock icon set, will be discounted to a mere 30 euro’s. Be snappy and get it while it’s hot (and practically free - had I mentioned to you you get addon packs for free and a lifetime of free use?). And who knows, if sales are going well, I might stick with the price.

A preview of an agressive pack.

There is a pack coming out soon to outline the end of the War on Bad Design. I’d say that with the site up soon and the clients I have got now, I can safely say the ‘war’ was is a grand success and has seen many victims of beautification. The pack will include ‘forces’ of land, sea, and air for your desktop pleasure - free of charge. This is but one icon of the set…

Vienna without a flipped out Star-Trek pad.

Yeah, I dislike the icon that much. Anyway, all other replacements didn’t really do it either for me - I mean, I got a distinct image of a newspaper in my mind that I want it to be. Also, I got my own badge for a while now and I love it to death, so, to make the move;

I hope you enjoy this little Vienna icon replacement as much as I do. The badges are on the disk image, with instructions to get them working. Follow them closely. More on Icondesigner soon.

Cocoia declares war!

When Cocoia reveals Cocoia Main, the world will know no mercy.

You are experiencing a deadly silence before the storm right now. The site, cocoia.com, will be home to Cocoia Labs, the portfolio of designs, various downloads and support pages, as well as your portal to all things Cocoia.

For anyone wondering what this all means past the hyping, I am rolling out some icon sets and helping some developers with new icons as well. For Leopard, we will need our trusty graphical friends to be big, very big. At least 512 pixels. So a lot of icons actually need redesigning. I see a chance to give all competition a run for their money. Let’s show OS X Tiger is still leaps forward of Linux. Let’s blow Vista’s oddball look out of the water. War has begun.
