The specs for the iPhone icons are 57 x 57 and 29 x 29 (not 59 x 59). Otherwise, great stuff!

I have to design an iphone icon for a new application.
I have read the specs and guidelines on the apple website. However, I am not clear if I just design it "flat" then the developer submits it to apple with the program files? Or do I do that so that I can see how the icon will look with the filters applied through Mac OS.
CAN SOMEONE ADIVSE ME.

thank you.

My opinion is that Settings icon on the bigger device is big machinery gears, whilst Setting on iPhone should be much smaller, because of the device itself. Image iphone is some sort of hand watches against Big Ben. One thing I dislike in setting on iphone is the border, it looks crappy.
