OS X 10.4.9; first (stupid) impression.
March 13, 2007 on 9:56 pm | In UncategorizedApple has released 10.4.9, and it’s already incredibly intelligent;
What? No? You want sudo with that? I’m already annoyed, although the .9 could indicate this is the last update, for now. When will we see Leopard?

That’s the standard Sudo warning you get on ANY *nix system the first time you run sudo. This update installed a completely new version of sudo, so it’s only logical that it would give you the warning again. Or would you advocate that Apple remove the warning from this highly dangerous command?
Oh well, I’ve found the default sudo first-time warning to be a bit different in the previous OS’es I have used, including OS X. I’ve always had the same message about the “Usual drill by the System Administrator” and “Great Power comes with great responsibility” but not such vague notices of data loss.
